Reagents, Clinical Chemistry, Protein, Albumin, Microalbuminaria
Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform semiquantitative chemical analysis of body fluids (typically urine) to determine albumin levels greater than normal, but less that the levels than can be detected in routine screening tests. Urinary albumin excretion is a marker of microvascular disease, and it precedes and is highly predictive of diabetic nephropathy and end-stage renal disease.
