Clamps, Surgical, Vasectomy
Definition : Surgical clamps designed to atraumatically grasp the ductus (vas) deferens during vasectomy procedures. These clamps are typically handheld, manual instruments including two parts pivoted at the center; dedicated vasectomy clamps are available with small teeth that are relatively atraumatic to the scrotum and permit ductus exposure and with blunt rounded distal ends to transfix the vas for injecting anesthesia.
